Conception
Cold calling
It all began with a simple idea: to host youth screenings at the end of tenth grade, a celebration of creativity and expression. Growing up, I was always drawn to media—its power to tell stories, evoke emotions, and connect people.
In the beginning, I took the plunge into cold calling distributors, eager to offer my services. At first, I faced a lot of rejection and was often ignored, which was discouraging. However, my persistence paid off when I finally landed my first client in the 11th grade. That client not only became a valuable partner but also a mentor who guided me through the early stages of my journey.
Youth screenings
Our recent initiative focused on youth screenings has successfully achieved a 3–5% increase in visibility among the 15–25 demographic in Maharashtra. This strategic approach has also driven a1.5 revenue growth in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region through youth-focused partnerships and client screenings for August Entertainment. We are excited about the impact this initiative is having on our engagement with young audiences.
Cloud based services
During my internship at NFDC, I observed a significant gap in the use of technology and cloud-based services in the processes use to report back to distributors. This experience highlighted the inefficiencies present in methods and inspired me to explore innovative cloud solutions for distributors. I believe that implementing these services can streamline communication and improve overall efficiency of the distribution process.
